OVERLOAD ON DESK

I am wondering why my desk the side next to the door was looking very very top heavy, twas cos I overloaded it with scrapping magazines!
I have no idea how that end of the desk didn't collapse or even was a sling shot for the other end of the desk for everything to fly through to the kitchen at least there is oopening in the wall if had LOL.
So I did a tidy up nothing strenous sorted out all the magazines which were old and put them in the plastic and then settled on storing the newer magazines in the fantastic holders that Tash made for me:)
A lot of the newer magazines came from the op shop where Tezza's volunteers plus they are NEWER I think the person read them then opped them ( how can you do that I realise I will never be able to pass them on unless they are returned I have invested a lot of time reading them from front to back and highlighting pages with ideas I could change to be mine!

SOMETHING OLD IS NEW AGAIN!

Chloe was having a merry time rediscovering items when she got home from school on friday as she had been at Tasha's house since Tuesday night due to my opeartion (Tash and Caron are lifesavers to my damily :) )

Chloe asked me about the box under the computer desk and I said its my old sewing box..mum can I get it out?

What do mums say, sure but don't make a mess!'

A treasure trove of excitement for Chloe she made out of the materials a bandana, apron with the smallest of material, a black dress with a pocket she sewed on (I really don't know how she eyed the needle must get Chloe to do it when I can't see which is most of the time)

I can see its going to be a 4 way (Me, Tash, Caron and Chloe) when material is concerned I share when there is an item of clothing that is past its pass on stage I cut it down and either use for craft, OTP or pass onto to be used by the girls!

Late Saturday Arvo

The invalid has just arisen, from a sorry night of poo pains and finally the DUMP!!!

My back is killing me and did no favours for my drainage hole but it had to come out have used the medication sparingly only when I need to take them, there is enough for 5 days but I have some left over thats not too bad is it?

Chloe was itching to help me so set her to work by creating a shopping list now I just need to be able to read it LOL.  With our end of year money we have been able to save for a bed bunks that Chloe got a surprise when she she got home from staying at Tasha's (wish I could have grabbed the camera and run to take a photograph, no hope of that!) and also 2 new tv's as ours were 2nd hand in the first place and they were large boxes like UFO tables LOL over 10 years old but we can't be unkind to them they did there work very well :)

Tezza has done a massive job of looking after me and all the paperwork that comes with being me LOL.  I said when I get back to washing and vaccuming I will take over BUT NO he says he still wants to handle that side of the housework so I can't complain can I.  He has got used to catching the bus in the mornings to go to Launceston as he was scared before that he might have a seizure on the bus (so this is a HUGE step for him).

This BLOG will be a HUGE step for me somewhere to put down my achievements, ups n downs, fears and what ever is happening in my life.  Scrapbooking and all the arts that surround the craft takes a lot of my life up but I wouldn't have it any other way as it is true friendships evolve out this wonderful hobby :)
ME who thought I was no good at anything has actually WON challenges and able to put them up in the gallery and SHOW them off..is a situation I never thought would happen.  My lil ol family are proud as punch that Ihave found my niche.   I always loved making family birthdays and celebrations as when I was married before there was not a lot of money in the house so everything 2nd hand was NEW to me BUT as I am used to budgetting on little it stillmakes me so happy when there is money left over that I can actually BUY an item NEW.  But if you knew in the first place how hard this was to actually have the money and go to the check out registrar to pay for the bloody thing you would split your sides with laughter.  We needed a new doona cover and I did try and get to the cash registrar but NAH I had to tell tezza to put it back I just couldn't do it came out in a sweat then was told I was having panic attacks (This occured because of domestic violence in a form of social and economic way)  But I finally did it and was so proud :)

Laurel House is a beautiful, safe enviroment that I was able to tell my story it was hard but the councellor was a saint to me I could take as long as I could to get my brain around the form of violence I had encountered.  Which I just thought was a everyday occurrence in marriage ....WOW was I wrong!

Got a call monday at 4pm asking if I would like to have my gallbladder and stones removed on the Tuesday morning,,,I couldn't hide my delight and screamed YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS on the phone someone's misfortune was my fortune appartently the patient who had my spot was ill with the flu. (sorry) Run around and organised for Chloe to stay at Tash's and with some helop from Caron and Adam with driving us to the hospital. Not nervous very extatic!!! Tuesday morning 9.10am yep looked at the clock rolled into the operation theatre and waking up in the recovery room gave me a look at those pesky things 1000 gravel shiny, jagged looking stones (NASTY). Rolled straight up to level 5B room 23...Awesome nurses couldn't do enough for me but I think they were sick after 25 times of unhooking the saline drip so I could go and do wee's...they thought NAH she is going enough by herself!
